Severn Beach is the end of the line and is conveniently located for many of the homes in the area. From here it is a short walk to the banks of the River Severn. You can walk alongside the river with impressive views of both Severn Road Crossings. Continue along to New Passage, which used to be the point where travellers to South Wales transferred from train to ferry before the building of the Severn Tunnel; and where John and Charles Wesley, founders of Methodism, embarked on their journeys to Wales and Ireland. The station also links in with one of the longest coastal cycle paths in the country.
